Nathan Schumacher

Nathan started climbing on the East Coast, quickly moving towards work in the industry for Earth Treks Climbing Centers.

Captivated by a sense of community and passion for instruction and the outdoors, indoor instruction in the gyms quickly led the way to a senior instructor role within the ET Outdoor School.

Nathan headed West, to work as an instructor for Outward Bound School to help mentor and share the mountains with the next generation.

Currently, Nathan holds a role as the climbing program manager for Movement Gyms Colorado and instructs and guides on the weekends at local venues in the Front Range.

He is part of the LGBTQIA2+ community and is constantly striving to help open doors to the climbing community.

Nathan truly embodies our mission of, “Inspiring growth and exploration in the mountains”.
